During President Donald Trump’s second term, significant progress has been made on crypto and stablecoin legislation. Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO of MoonPay, advocates for a balanced approach that includes state-regulated stablecoin issuers. In a letter to the Senate Banking Committee and the House Financial Services Committee, Soto-Wright expressed support for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) and its proposed amendments to key pieces of legislation.
